Solaris Saunas are not saunas in the true sense of the word, but deliver a therapeutic heating benefit that targets specific parts of the body at a lower temperature.

Infrared heats the body rather than the air, and therefore does not cause the room to get exceptionally hot. An infrared room will generally not exceed 60 degrees above the ambient temperature surrounding the room, and are effective at temperatures as low as 115 degrees. The purpose of infrared is to provide heat stimulation to specific parts of the body. Sore joints and aching muscles are relieved through the deep tissue stimulation of infrared heat while leaving the room relatively comfortable to the user because of the lower temperatures.

What is the infrared sauna experience?

Using a Solaris Infrared Sauna™ increases blood circulation in the body, which in turn helps to improve overall body function. The far infrared waves penetrate the body to a depth of 1-1/2 - 2”, providing soothing relief for aches, pains and tension. Infrared waves safely penetrate the skin, providing a source of heat without causing any harmful effects to the skin. Infrared heat is so safe it is often used in hospital nurseries to provide warmth for newborn babies.

What does "far" infrared mean?

Far infrared is simply the far portion of the infrared spectrum located between approximately 5 and 1000 microns. It is the most effective portion of the infrared spectrum for providing the physical benefits of infrared heat. Infrared therapy is not the same as a UV tanning bed where the intent is to experience the UV portion of the spectrum.

There may be times when the stock status becomes back-ordered or even sold out without our prior knowledge. Should that be the case when your order is received, we will offer you the option of a full and immediate refund if you prefer not to wait for the product to be back in stock.

Shipping and Delivery Information

Solaris saunas will ship within 2-10 business days after receipt of your cleared payment. This allows for the necessary time to schedule a professional freight carrier. The sauna will ship from the manufacturer's warehouse in California directly to your home anywhere in the 48 contiguous United States. Unfortunately we cannot ship to remote areas not in close proximity to areas commonly serviced by freight carriers, islands, addresses given as rural routes, APO/FPO addresses or P.O. Boxes.

Estimated delivery time from our door to yours is 2-10 business days. Our saunas are shipped through a professional freight carrier so you can be assured that your sauna will be handled with care. The delivery address must be tractor/trailer accessible or additional charges will apply. The freight carrier will contact you 12-48 hours prior to delivery to arrange a delivery time. The phone number used to contact you will be the daytime and evening phone numbers you provide during checkout. Available delivery times will vary depending on the freight carrier’s schedule, typically between 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Normally they will require a 4 hour window unless otherwise stated. The freight carrier will make one attempt to deliver before returning the sauna back to its origination. You will be refunded for the sauna but you will be responsible for all shipping and handling charges plus a 15% restocking fee. Please be sure to be available during the entire agreed upon time. The freight carrier will unload your sauna shipment from the truck at curbside, but is not authorized to help you move, unwrap, set up, or install the sauna. Please be sure to have adequate help on hand to move your sauna from the curb to its intended location.

At time of delivery, before signing the carrier’s delivery receipt, you must thoroughly inspect the exterior of the sauna shipment for any visible damage; crushing, dents, scuffs, scratches, tears, etc. The driver is not required to wait for you to unwrap the sauna and inspect it unless there is visible damage to the exterior. If it is obvious that there is damage, you may ask the driver to inspect the damage with you. If you consider the damage to be excessive, you may refuse the shipment and write, "REFUSED DUE TO DAMAGE" on the delivery receipt. Be sure to keep a copy of the delivery receipt with your damage notations and contact us immediately. In the event of any hidden damage please contact us for assistance.
