Shipping Information

The Fleetwood barbecue island ships fully assembled except for the granite which is packaged in a separate carton, securely strapped to the unit. This insures safe transit and allows for easier relocation to your deck or patio after it arrives. A silicone adhesive and illustrated instructions are provided for quick and easy granite installation.

Fleetwood Casual outdoor kitchens and barbecue islands are built-to-order.  As such, your products will ship approximately 4 weeks after receipt of your cleared payment. This allows us the necessary time to build your product with the colors and options you selected. The products will ship from our warehouse in Michigan directly to your home anywhere in the 48 contiguous United States. Unfortunately we cannot ship to remote areas not in close proximity to areas commonly serviced by freight carriers, islands, addresses given as rural routes, APO/FPO addresses or P.O. Boxes.

For your convenience, if desired, we will gladly deliver your items on a truck with a rear lift gate to safely unload them from the truck. Contact us and we will be happy to arrange that for you at no extra charge.

Delivery Information

Estimated transit time after the product ships is 5-10 business days. Our products are shipped through a professional freight carrier so you can be assured that they will be handled with care. The delivery address must be tractor/trailer accessible or additional charges will apply. The freight carrier will contact you 12-48 hours prior to delivery to arrange a delivery time. The phone number used to contact you will be the daytime and evening phone numbers you provide during checkout. Available delivery times will vary depending on the freight carrier’s schedule, typically between 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday through Friday. Normally they will require a 4 hour window unless otherwise stated. The freight carrier will make one attempt to deliver before returning the products back to their origination. You will be refunded for the product but responsible for all shipping and handling charges plus a 10% restocking fee. Please be sure to be available during the entire agreed upon time. The freight carrier will unload your product from the truck at curbside, but is not authorized to help you move, unwrap, set up, or install it. Please be sure to have adequate help on hand to move your products from the curb to their intended location. At time of delivery, before signing the carrier’s delivery receipt, you must thoroughly inspect the exterior of the shipping crate and cartons for any visible damage. The driver is not required to wait for you to open the crate or cartons and inspect them unless there is visible damage to the exterior. If it is obvious that there is damage, you may ask the driver to inspect the damage with you. If you consider the damage to be excessive, you may refuse the shipment and write, "REFUSED DUE TO DAMAGE" on the delivery receipt. Be sure to keep a copy of the delivery receipt with your damage notations and contact us immediately. After you accept delivery, return of the product is your responsibility if that becomes necessary. In the event of any hidden damage contact us for assistance.
